A course in floristry can vary greatly in duration, depending on the objective, school and degree. For a seminar that is purely for private purposes and shows you what beautiful floral creations you can make, courses can last from a few hours to a few days. More professional training courses last around two years, a preparatory course for the Federal Professional Examination one year and vocational education and training (VET) three years. For a diploma course lasting two years, you can expect to take around 240 lessons.
