How long is an apprenticeship in communication technology?
A full-time course of study at a University of Applied Sciences (UAS) in the field of communications technology (e.g. Computer Science and Communication Systems Engineer UAS) lasts six semesters, i.e. three years, and correspondingly longer in part-time studies.
Part-time training at a College of Higher Education (CHE) in communications technology (e.g. Telecommunications Technician CHE) takes 2 - 3 years.
Another option is access via vocational training, equivalent or foreign qualifications.
