How long does it take to learn floristry?
There are various ways to learn floristry:
- Courses leading to a "school certificate / diploma", these usually last a few days
- Floristry training from the Swiss Floristry Association SFV, which lasts a few days
- Vocational education and training (Federal VET Diploma) as a florist, which lasts three years
- Federal Professional Examination to become a florist with Federal Diploma of Higher Education, which lasts one year while working
