How long does social pedagogical training take?
In Switzerland, it is possible to study social pedagogy at a College of Higher Education (CHE), a University of Applied Sciences (UAS) or a university. At the Universities of Applied Sciences, social pedagogy training can be completed in three years as full-time studies or in four to six years as part-time studies, at the Colleges of Higher Education in three to four years. Federal VET Diploma care specialists have the option of shortening their training at the College of Higher Education to two to three years.
