How long does continuing education, further training in marketing take?

There is no set duration for marketing training. Again, the time you spend on a course or seminar depends on which course you choose.

For example, there are search engine marketing seminars that last just three hours and give you a brief insight into a very specific topic.

Other marketing courses last two or three days, others a few weeks or months.

In the case of federally recognized courses, the duration of continuing education, further training can be specified a little more precisely. For example, a marketing course in preparation for the Federal Professional Examination and the Federal Diploma of Higher Education takes 2 - 3 semesters. Three to four semesters are required for the Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education (AFPE).
Continuing education, further training at a College of Higher Education (CHE) takes about three years, a postgraduate studies CHE one year (NDS CHE).

Continuing education, further training in marketing at a Universities in the form of a Bachelor's or Master's degree generally takes six semesters or two to four semesters. Postgraduate courses at a Universities can last from one semester (CAS - Certificate of Advanced Studies) to three semesters (DAS - Diploma of Advanced Studies) and up to four semesters (MAS - Master of Advanced Studies) in the standard period of study.
