How long does it take to train as a wood technician?
There are various ways to train to become a wood technician.
- College of Higher Education to become a wood technician CHE wood industry: The CHE course takes 3 years part-time; full-time study takes 2 - 3 years.
- Bachelor's degree course at a University of Applied Sciences (UAS): The duration of a full-time course is 6 semesters and 8 semesters for part-time courses.
- Finally, there are also so-called postgraduate courses from Universities (CAS, DAS, MAS): A part-time MAS timber construction course lasts 2 - 4 years.
