How long exactly does basic training as a gardener take?
For the basic training, i.e. the gardening apprenticeship, you can choose between an apprenticeship with a Federal Certificate of Vocational Education and Training (VET) and an apprenticeship with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET). The apprenticeship with a vocational certificate lasts two years, the apprenticeship with a certificate of proficiency three years.
