How long does training in online journalism take?
If you want to train as an online editor (online journalist), you can choose between very different courses. The Bachelor's degree in Communication Science with a specialization in Journalism takes three years (6 semesters) full-time, as does the Journalism course, but part-time (2 days per week). The distance learning course is usually completed within 12 months, but is very flexible in terms of time. Other providers also recommend a study period of 12 months, but this can be extended to up to 36 months. Enquire directly with the providers.
