Wie lange dauert ein Französisch-Intensivkurs?

How long does an intensive French course last?

Intensive French courses are ideal for anyone who wants to learn French quickly and intensively. In these French courses, you take part in lessons several times a week and in most schools you also spend a few hours at home revising everything you have learned. These intensive French courses are significantly shorter than conventional standard courses and can last between 4 and 12 weeks, depending on the language school, course objective and number of lessons per week. Four weeks of French courses are usually enough to achieve a first major learning success and, for example, to complete an A1 course as a beginner. However, the prerequisite is that you attend lessons four to five times a week for a few hours. If you cannot manage this or are not sure whether this workload is too much for you, it is better to choose a longer period and perhaps only attend a French course twice a week.
