How does a commercial apprenticeship actually work?
The apprenticeship to become a merchant with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (Federal VET Diploma) lasts 3 years (4 years HMS) and can be completed with three different profiles B / E and M with BM. During the first two years of their apprenticeship, commercial apprentices work 3 days a week at their training company and spend 2 days a week at vocational school. In the third year, they only attend classes at the vocational school once a week and spend the rest of the time working at the company. If you wish to complete the apprenticeship with a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate (BM), you will spend two days at vocational school and three days at the company in the third year.
