How is an MAS in Finance structured?
There is not just one Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Finance in Switzerland, but several from universities and Universities of Applied Sciences. It is therefore not possible to generalize about what content an MAS teaches and which CAS it consists of. However, an MAS always has a modular structure and usually consists of 3 CASs and a Master's thesis. It is usually possible to set individual specializations and choose from the CASs offered in Finance. A total of 60 ECTS credits are awarded for an MAS, which are acquired within two years with a concluding Master's thesis. It is possible to shorten or extend the duration of the MAS Finance program at many Universities.
