How is continuing education, further training structured?
The continuing education, Vocational Education and Training for the Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training is divided into specialized classes and general education classes (ABU). Persons with at least three years of vocational training with Federal VET Diploma are exempt from the ABU. At the EBZ Olten, general education takes place in the second to fourth semester on one evening per week. In addition, there are specialist lessons, which teach vocational skills every second Thursday for the first two weeks and on 13 Tuesdays in the third and fourth semesters. After passing the final examination (qualification procedure), the Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training is awarded.
