How is the examination for the Certificate in Insurance Brokerage VBV structured?
The final examination of the Insurance Broker VBV course is divided into a written and an oral examination. The written examination takes place twice a year in examination centers and covers knowledge of the insurance industry, social and personal insurance as well as liability insurance, property insurance and other asset insurance for businesses and private households, as well as legal knowledge. In the oral examination for the insurance brokerage certificate, candidates can choose between the topics "Small businesses" and "Private households: Self-employed persons, families, individuals" and have to go through an advisory and sales situation in a fictitious customer meeting.
