How is the Federal VET Diploma logistics apprenticeship structured?
The logistics apprenticeship to become a logistician with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (Federal VET Diploma) lasts three years and can be started after completing elementary school. Apprentices work four days a week in a transport or distribution company or in a warehouse, where their practical training takes place. They spend one day a week at a vocational college. If they perform very well at school, they can attend the vocational baccalaureate school during their apprenticeship. Continuing education, further training ends with a qualification procedure (formerly the LAP final apprenticeship examination). If they pass, graduates receive the Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training.
