How is the final examination to become a medical masseur structured?
The final examination for continuing education, further training and certification as a medical masseur consists of several parts:
- Examination part A is a written, three-hour examination of factual and applied knowledge (single weighted).
- Part B of the examination is a practical session of massage and physical therapy lasting approximately four hours (double weighted).
- A 40-minute oral specialist discussion with a case presentation based on a written paper to be prepared in advance (single weighted).
To pass the Federal Professional Examination, all parts of the examination must be completed with a grade of at least 4.0.
