How is the MAS in Information Systems structured?
The Master of Advanced Studies MAS in Information Systems consists of four Certificate of Advanced Studies CAS certificate courses and a Master's thesis. The "CAS Requirements Engineering" is compulsory for the continuing education master's degree, plus at least one CAS from the compulsory elective area: CAS Solution Design, CAS IT Management & Sourcing, CAS Strategic and Operational Process Management. In addition, up to two more can be chosen from the following CAS: CAS Corporate Development, CAS Supply Chain Management, CAS Competence-Oriented Project Management, CAS Business Analysis and Methods, CAS Digital Strategy & Value Creation, CAS Operations Management, CAS Business Modeling and Transformation. The face-to-face courses take place on Fridays and Saturdays, although this may vary, and extend over a minimum of 2.5 years and a maximum of 5 years.
