How is the MAS in Patient Education structured?
In terms of content, the Master's degree program in Patient and Family Education is divided into three certificate courses (CAS) and one Master's module. The CAS Clinical Assessment and Patient Counseling comprises three modules (Clinical Assessment, Patient Education, and Nursing Research I or II), as does the CAS Education and Change Management (Developing Patient Education Programs, Facilitating and Managing Challenging Conversations, and Nursing Development and Professional Leadership), while the CAS Promoting Health and Self-Management Skills consists of two compulsory modules and one compulsory elective module. In the Master's module, the Master's thesis is planned and implemented, in which you plan, implement, document and reflect on a nursing development project in your focus area.
