How is the Commercial Clerk qualification classified?
The Commercial Clerk course concludes with a certificate issued by the school attended. Such certificates are not recognized by the Federal Office for Professional Education and Training. However, this does not mean that the qualifications are regarded in the relevant sectors or are of lower quality than federally recognized qualifications. There are numerous training courses that can be completed with a certificate but are still profitable and career-enhancing, e.g. industry-specific continuing education, further training. At some schools, it is possible to enter the 2nd semester of the management assistant course with federal recognition directly after completing the certificate. This course concludes with a Federal Professional Examination.
