How is the Master's degree program in Civil Engineering structured?
Civil engineers with a Bachelor of Science degree who wish to continue their education with a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) have the opportunity to study this subject at seven Universities of Applied Sciences in Switzerland, with different specializations depending on the university. Nevertheless, the structure of the course is identical. The Master's in Civil Engineering is divided into three parts, the theory and context modules, which make up around a third of the course and are offered centrally for all seven universities of applied sciences at three locations in Switzerland. In the specialization, the Master Research Unit (MRU), you specialize and write your Master's thesis in the chosen specialization, which is the third part of the Master's degree.
