What is the best way to relax?
In an increasingly fast-paced and hectic world, a state of relaxation seems to be an almost unattainable goal for many people, but it is not that difficult to achieve and maintain. However, it takes some practice and knowledge to recognize your personal needs and find the right method. What helps one person makes another all the more nervous; what one person dreams of means pure stress for another. This is why the methods that help you relax and calm down are as individual as the people themselves. For some, this means letting their mind wander to wherever it takes them, while for others it means getting on their bike and exploring nature. Sport, meditation, a warm bathtub, reading a good book, enjoying a massage, practicing yoga or shiatsu. As a rule, these activities are done alone, as this is the only way to pay full attention to one's own needs and achieve individual relaxation. Commitments and engaging with a third party during recovery phases are just as counterproductive as the constant awareness that this phase is sometimes only short-lived and that the hectic pace of everyday life will return afterwards. Consciously not thinking about everyday things is therefore an important factor in "clearing your head" and getting through the day stronger with targeted relaxation phases.
