Who is admitted to the Federal Professional Examination for Hotel Housekeeping Managers?
Admission to the Federal Professional Examination in Hotel Housekeeping is granted to those who meet the following requirements at the start of the examination:
- Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET Diploma) as a housekeeping specialist or hotel specialist and at least 3 years of professional experience (80%) in hotel housekeeping, including 1 year of management experience (80%)
- or another Federal VET Diploma and proof of performance in the three basic housekeeping subjects (cleaning, laundry, catering) and at least 4 years of professional experience (80%) in the hotel housekeeping sector, including 1 year of management experience (80%)
In addition to the above requirements:
- Required module qualifications or certificates of equivalence
- Completion of the training course for vocational trainers
