The following conditions must be met in order to train as an event technician with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education (Federal Professional Examination):

• Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training / tertiary level or equivalent qualification and at least three years of professional experience in event technology in the field of stage / lighting (depending on focus)

• or Federal VET Diploma in another field and at least five years of professional experience in event technology in the field of stage / lighting (depending on focus)
