Who can study physiotherapy?
The following admission requirements generally apply for studying physiotherapy at a University of Applied Sciences:
- Federal Vocational Baccalaureate, Specialized Baccalaureate or Baccalaureate
- At least 2 months pre-study internship in the healthcare sector
or
- Professional qualification in a healthcare profession at the level of College of Higher Education and Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE)
and
- Aptitude assessment / admission procedure (assessment of intellectual and communicative abilities, interests, motivation, resilience, stamina, manual skills, etc.)
The Universities of Applied Sciences provide information on admission requirements, internship content and recognition of prior achievements. This makes it clear who can study physiotherapy.
