What title do I acquire after the HF degree in Energy Technology?
After completing training in energy technology at a university of applied sciences, students were awarded the federal title of "qualified technician HF energy technology" until 2020. After that, the course and the qualification were renamed and were called "Dipl. Techniker/in HF Elektrotechnik" for two years. In 2022, all framework curricula for technical training courses at universities of applied sciences were revised; since then, the former energy technology further training course has been taught as part of the "qualified electrical engineer HF" course.
