What apprenticeship qualification do I need for a FPE as a building energy consultant?

Under certain conditions, you will be admitted to the Federal Professional Examination "Energy Consultant for Buildings with Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training" with all apprenticeship qualifications or Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET):

• with aFederal VET Diploma in the construction industryFederal VET Diploma, you must also have at least seven years of
  have professional experience in building services engineering or building envelopes, including at least three years with management experience and/or customer advice
• withFederal VET Diploma in another industryFederal VET Diploma, you must also have at least ten years of
  have professional experience in building services engineering or building envelopes, including at least three years with management experience and/or customer advice

Holders of related higher vocational training qualifications or university degrees only need to demonstrate three years of professional experience in building technology or building envelopes, but no management or customer advisory experience.
