With a commercial apprenticeship, you lay the foundation for a further career in a wide variety of fields - depending on which specialization you choose. You have the opportunity to choose between 21 different specializations, so that you can specialize accordingly. After completing your apprenticeship, you will usually work for a few years in your training company or another company and, after a few years of professional experience, you will have the necessary skills and knowledge to continue your training in a targeted manner. You can choose from various certificate courses, such as fiduciary courses or business management courses, as well as Federal Diploma of Higher Education (FPE) courses leading to a Federal Diploma of Higher Education, such as Finance and Accounting Specialist, Management Assistant or HR Specialist. You can also aim to attend a College of Higher Education to become a certified business economist or certified business economist, for example, as well as an insurance economist.
