What admission requirements do I have to fulfill for the prophylaxis assistant course?
Applicants must meet the following requirements for admission to continuing education, further training as a prophylaxis assistant SSO:
- Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET Diploma) as a dental assistant or equivalent qualification (with FOPH X-ray authorization)
- At least one year of professional experience as a dental assistant after completing the apprenticeship (on average at least 80%)
- Passing the prophylaxis assistant licensing examination
- Proof of the employer's agreement that the necessary internship of at least six months can be carried out in their SSO dental practice
