In order to be admitted to the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) for Financial Analyst / Asset Manager, you must meet the following criteria by the time you take the examination at the latest:

• Vocational education and training (VET), high school diploma or equivalent qualification
• At least five years of professional experience in banking or finance

or

• Federal Diploma of Higher Education (Achtung: Englisch gleich. Diploma HF!), Federal Diploma of Higher Education (AFPE), Bachelor's degree from a University of Applied Sciences or University in the field of economics
• At least three years of professional experience in banking or finance

or

• Master's degree from a University of Applied Sciences or a university in the field of economics
• At least two years of professional experience in banking or finance

and

• have the required module qualifications* or certificates of equivalence
