What are the admission requirements for the Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Copywriting?
Anyone wishing to train as a copywriter with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education has the opportunity to obtain this title by taking a Federal Professional Examination. In order to be admitted to the Federal Professional Examination, the following requirements must be met:
- Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in business administration, media technology, interactive media design or at least 3 years of basic training in a sales or graphic design profession
- or Federal Diploma of Higher Education (FPE) in communications, PR, marketing, sales or in the commercial sector
- or Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) in the commercial field
- or degree from a College of Higher Education (CHE), University or University of Applied Sciences in the commercial field
- and at least 2 years of professional experience in marketing and copywriting in at least one of the following areas: commercial communication, public relations, journalism, marketing, sales, direct marketing, graphics, mediamatics, online marketing, social media or interactive media design
Without the above-mentioned degrees:
- Completion of upper-secondary level or equivalent qualification
- and at least 3 years of experience in marketing and copywriting in at least one of the following areas: commercial communication, public relations, journalism, marketing, sales, direct marketing, graphics, mediamatics, online marketing, social media or interactive media design
