Anyone wishing to take the Federal Professional Examination (FPE) in the field of social insurance (Social Insurance Specialist with Federal Diploma of Higher Education) must have completed at least three years of vocational education and training (VET) or equivalent / higher education and have at least three years of professional experience in the field of social insurance. Alternatively, two years of vocational education and training (VET) is possible, but in this case 5 years of relevant professional experience is required.
