ICT-Application Development Specialist mit eidg. Fachausweis: Welche Zulassungskriterien gelten für die Berufsprüfung ICT-Applikationsentwickler / ICT-Applikationsentwicklerin mit eidgenössischem Fachausweis?

The following admission requirements apply for the Federal Professional Examination ICT Application Developer with Federal Diploma of Higher Education - called ICT Application Development Specialist with Federal Diploma of Higher Education:

• Federal certificate of proficiency (apprenticeship certificate) as a computer scientist and at least two years of professional experience in application development.

or

• another Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET Diploma) or one of the following qualifications and at least four years of professional experience in the field of information and communication technology, including at least two years in application development:
  • a high school diploma
  • a specialized baccalaureate
  • a vocational baccalaureate
  • or an equivalent qualification

or

• at least six years of professional experience in the field of information and communication technology, including at least two years in application development

The professional experience must have been acquired before the start of the examination. SERI decides on the equivalence of foreign certificates and diplomas. To be on the safe side, ask your school about the admission requirements.
