The admission criteria for the Federal Professional Examination for Management Assistants with a Federal Certificate are as follows:

• Certificate of proficiency (apprenticeship certificate) as a Federal VET Diploma merchant, Baccalaureate, Specialized Baccalaureate, Federal Vocational Baccalaureate, Federal Vocational Baccalaureate or equivalent certificate and at least three years of relevant professional experience since graduation

or

• Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (Vocational Certificate) from an apprenticeship of at least three years, Federal VET Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent qualification or equivalent certificate and at least four years of commercial work experience since graduation

Proof of professional experience must be provided by the start date of the examination. SERI decides on the equivalence of foreign diplomas for admission to the Federal Professional Examination in Management Assistant.
