What are the admission requirements for continuing education, further training as a qualified electrical installation and safety expert (formerly electrical installer)?
Admission to the Advanced Federal Professional Examination for Electrical Installation and Safety Experts (formerly Dipl. Elektroinstallateur) is granted to those who meet the following conditions at the start of the examination:
- Federal Professional Examination as Electrical Project Manager Installation and Safety with Federal Diploma of Higher Education or equivalent qualification
- Specialist certificate as electrical project manager (regulations dated 25.6.2003)
- At least one year of practical experience in a relevant industry after the Federal Professional Examination
- Required module qualifications or certificates of equivalence
- Diploma thesis
