What further training opportunities in a care profession do I have after completing a Federal VET Certificate as a health and social care assistant?
After successfully completing two years of vocational education and training with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET) as a Health and Social Care Assistant, you can either enter the nursing profession or start the shortened training to obtain a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET) as a Healthcare Specialist. You will then enter the second year of your apprenticeship and have the same further training opportunities as Federal VET Diploma healthcare specialists after graduation.
