As a Federal VET Diploma care specialist, you have the following further training opportunities:
- Courses: Courses offered by professional associations, technical colleges and Universities
- Federal Professional Examination (FPE): with a federal certificate: social care worker, team leader in social and socio-medical institutions, migration specialist, specialist in long-term care and support, specialist for accompanying people with disabilities, employment agent, job coach, specialist in psychiatric care and support
- Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE): e.g. qualified institution manager in the social and socio-medical field, supervisor/coach, organizational consultant
- College of Higher Education: qualified social pedagogue CHE, qualified child educator CHE (or childhood pedagogue), qualified community animator CHE, qualified head of occupational education CHE (training currently only in French-speaking Switzerland)
