What further training opportunities do I have as an Federal VET Diploma electrician?
As a Federal VET Diploma electrician with professional experience, the following continuing education, further training courses are generally open to you:
- Federal Diploma of Higher Education: Electrical Project Manager Installation and Safety
- Building on Federal Professional Examination: Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) to become a qualified electrical installation and safety expert or qualified electrical planning expert
- College of Higher Education: courses in the field of technology, e.g. qualified technician CHE electrical engineering or qualified technician CHE telecommunications
If you have a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate (BMS), the path to a University of Applied Sciences (UAS) is also open to you. For example, with a Bachelor of Science (UAS) in electrical engineering or building services engineering.
Of course, courses from EIT.swiss, other professional associations, vocational schools and technical institutes can also be attended.
