There is a whole range of further training opportunities after studying radiology in the form of lectures, conferences and courses in hospitals, the SVMTRA professional association and educational institutions. Specializations are also possible, for example as a radiation protection specialist, medical IT specialist, application specialist for diagnostic and therapeutic high-tech devices, in nuclear medicine, radiooncology and radiodiagnostics. Universities of Applied Sciences also offer attractive degree programs, such as the Bachelor of Science (UAS) in Medical Radiology Technology (in French) or Life Technologies.
