What continuing education, further training can be completed after MPA training?
After a few years of practical work experience following the MPA training, medical practice assistants can pursue various continuing education, further training, such as courses offered by vocational schools and associations or preparatory courses for federal examinations. Possible options include continuing, further training to become a medical practice coordinator in a clinical or practice management role with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education, a hospital specialist with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education or a health insurance specialist with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education. Alternatively, and with the appropriate qualifications, you can also study at a University of Applied Sciences (UAS), for example in nursing, physiotherapy or occupational therapy, or at a College of Higher Education (CHE) to become a qualified nursing specialist CHE, qualified biomedical analyst CHE, qualified specialist in medical-technical radiology or qualified activation specialist CHE.
