What continuing education, further training can be done after a hotel apprenticeship?
After completing an apprenticeship in the hotel industry, graduates have access to shortened basic training courses in related professions, as well as various continuing education, further training courses at GastroSuisse, hotelleriesuisse and Colleges of Higher Education. Federal Professional Examinations (FPE) are also available as a further training measure, such as Chef de Réception with Federal Diploma of Higher Education, Head of Hotel Housekeeping with Federal Diploma of Higher Education, Head of Restaurant Management with Federal Diploma of Higher Education, Management Specialist, Management Specialist, Management Specialist, Management Specialist, Management Specialist. Federal Diploma of Higher Education, Management Specialist with Federal Diploma of Higher Education, Tourism Assistant with Federal Diploma of Higher Education, Marketing Specialist with Federal Diploma of Higher Education, Management Assistant with Federal Diploma of Higher Education and HR Specialist with Federal Diploma of Higher Education (depending on the apprenticeship). Building on this, diplomas can be obtained at Colleges of Higher Education. Alternatively, degrees from Colleges of Higher Education (CHE) and Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) are also possible, such as the diploma Hôtelier/-ière-Restaurateur/-trice CHE or NDS-CHE Hotel Management.
