What continuing education, further training is there for food technologists?

Anyone who has completed a basic apprenticeship as a food technologist Federal VET Diploma and is now thinking of continuing their education after a few years of professional experience has the opportunity to do so with a course with Federal Professional Examination (FPE) leading to a Federal Diploma of Higher Education and, if interested, then aim for an Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE). A Bachelor's degree at a University of Applied Sciences (UAS) is also possible, as are various further education courses such as CAS, DAS or MAS. Food technologists can also pursue a degree from a College of Higher Education (CHE) after completing vocational training and gaining at least one year of practical experience. This course is also open to people with vocational training, such as chefs or dairy technologists. The respective schools provide information on the exact admission requirements for the individual continuing education, further training courses for food technologists.
