After successfully completing your training and obtaining the Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training to become a care assistant, you have the opportunity to register for continuing education, further training to become a healthcare specialist with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or a care specialist with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training. Thanks to your previous qualifications, you have the option of shortening your training and starting the second year of training straight away. Following this training, you will have access to the same further training opportunities as health or Federal VET Diploma care specialists.
