What continuing education, further training can I do after completing my apprenticeship?
After completing an apprenticeship, for example as a care specialist (FaBe), you have various options available to you, depending on the field of study, to specialize further with continuing education, further training in care. One of these options is, for example, a specialist qualification as a daycare center manager or a Federal Diploma of Higher Education (FPE) as a migration specialist with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education, social care assistant with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education or team leader in social and socio-medical institutions. Training at a College of Higher Education is also possible, for example as a qualified social pedagogue CHE, qualified child educator CHE or qualified community animator CHE, as well as with a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate at a University of Applied Sciences, for example in social work or applied psychology.
