Which continuing education, further training is suitable for a medical practice assistant?
As a medical practice assistant, you have the opportunity to continue your education with a Federal Professional Examination to become a Medical Practice Coordinator with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education, as well as a Health Insurance Specialist with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education or a Hospital Specialist with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education. Alternatively, medical practice assistants can also continue their education at Colleges of Higher Education or Universities of Applied Sciences, provided they meet the admission requirements, for example to become a certified nursing specialist CHE; certified activation specialist CHE, certified specialist in medical-technical radiology CHE or certified biomedical analyst CHE, Bachelor of Science (UAS) in physiology or occupational therapy.
