What are the requirements for a vocational trainer course?
In many cantons in Switzerland, there are no statutory admission requirements for a vocational trainer course at a school, so each school sets its own admission criteria. However, an apprenticeship qualification with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and at least two years of professional experience are often required.
Anyone wishing to register for the CAS Education in Healthcare Professions must have either a professional qualification in healthcare (BSc or NTE) or an Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education (CHE) and at least 300 hours of further training or diplomas in other disciplines and a certificate of equivalence for continuing education, further training in order to be admitted "sur dossier". Professional and practical experience in the supervision of apprentices and students as well as a good command of English are required.
