All participants in the ESTI examination must have attended at least 7 course days of 8 lessons each with a qualified instructor in the areas of basic electrical engineering, safe handling of electricity, installation control and measurement, connection technology and materials science. As a graduate of the solar technician course or with sufficient practical experience under technical supervision, you are eligible. Building envelope specialists - in particular solar installation project managers and solar technicians - can now also take the final examination of the Swiss Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations. Please contact the training provider or the ESTI to find out about the admission requirements for the solar technology installer exam with a permit for installation work in solar technology in accordance with Art. 14 NIV.
