In order to be able to take the Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Food Technology, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• Federal VET Diploma as a food technologist and at least 2 years of relevant professional experience

or

• Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training related to the industry and at least 4 years of professional experience as a food technologist

or

• Other Federal VET Diploma or equivalent qualification and at least 6 years of professional experience, of which at least 4 years as a food technologist
