Anyone wishing to take the Federal Professional Examination in Printing and Packaging Technology must meet the following requirements:

• Apprenticeship (Federal VET Diploma) in a visual communication profession (e.g. packaging technologist Federal VET Diploma, flexographic printer Federal VET Diploma, printing technologist Federal VET Diploma or media technologist Federal VET Diploma) and at least 3 years of professional experience in the field of printing and packaging technology after completing vocational education and training (VET)

or

• Other Federal VET Diploma, high school diploma or equivalent qualification and at least 4 years of professional experience in the field of printing and packaging technology

or

• At least 8 years of professional experience in printing and packaging technology
