What requirements do I have to fulfill for a CAS?
The CAS is a continuing education course offered by a Universities and is therefore only recommended to a limited extent as a basic occupational therapy course. It is aimed at practitioners who wish to deepen their knowledge and already have many years of professional experience. As a rule, several years of professional experience and a university degree are required for a CAS, although this can be waived if you have sufficient professional skills (admission "sur dossier").
The admission requirements for a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Occupational Therapy can vary depending on the program, but usually the ability to read English texts is a prerequisite, as well as a professional activity during the course of study.
