Welche Voraussetzungen muss ich für eine Produktmanagement-Ausbildung erfüllen?

Training in product management leading to a school certificate/diploma is not uniformly regulated. The schools can therefore decide for themselves on the admission requirements for the individual courses. However, continuing education, further training in the form of certificate courses usually requires one of the following criteria, which participants should fulfill:

• Completed vocational education and training (VET) in the commercial or technical field or in retail trade

or

• Completed commercial secondary school

or

• Federal Diploma of Higher Education in the commercial sector

or

• Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) in the commercial field

and

• Professional experience in marketing, sales or communication

A CAS or MAS course, on the other hand, is primarily aimed at people with a university degree who already have several years of professional experience. In some cases, however, you can also apply for admission "sur dossier". This means that, based on your experience, previous education and continuing, further training, it is decided on an individual basis whether you can be admitted to the CAS in Product Marketing or the MAS in Product Management.
