What requirements do I need to fulfill to study architecture?
To be admitted to a Bachelor's degree program in Architecture, you must have one of the following qualifications:
- Swiss school-leaving certificate or Swiss or Liechtenstein secondary school leaving certificate
- Federal vocational baccalaureate certificate plus supplementary examination
- Initial university education in Switzerland (Bachelor's degree, diploma, state examination, license)
- First degree from a Swiss University of Applied Sciences (Bachelor or Diploma)
- Diploma from a recognized HTL
- First degree from a Swiss University of Teacher Education (Bachelor or Diploma)
- Swiss primary school teacher certificate or teaching qualification
- Comparable foreign qualifications
- Federal Vocational Baccalaureate in the field of architecture, as a draughtsman / draughtswoman or a related profession
- In certain cases, some Universities and UASs also decide on the basis of a work portfolio before the start of studies
